How to Adjust Recliner Chairs

After a hard day of work standing on your feet for several hours, you want to relax for the evening. Using your new recliner chair while viewing your favorite television show or movie helps to ease your aching legs. A recliner chair is simple to adjust, and does not require any technological brilliance. Even a person who is severely technologically challenged can easily master the methods that are used to adjust a recliner chair. All you need to do is follow these simple tips.
First: Find the lever or button on the chair
The lever is typically on the right side of most recliners, whereas the button is usually on the recliner's arm or possibly on the side of the recliner. The lever or button is the mechanism you use to adjust your chair, in addition to the force of your body or feet.
Second: How to use the lever or button to adjust your recliner chair
If your recliner has a lever, simply pull the lever in an upward position while you simultaneously apply pressure on the recliner when you lean back. When you reach the level you want, gently release the lever. If your recliner has a button, simply press the button to adjust your recliner, and raise the footrest. Let go of the button when your chair is in the most comfortable position. If you want to adjust the chair to it previous position, simply perform the above actions in reverse, leaning forward and pressing your foot down on the footrest.
